Rapture letter

Hey there is a new website called Rapture Letters. It will send letters to your friends and family the Friday after the rapture explaining what happened to you.

I am not sure about this, and I have not put my name on it. It was mentioned as a joke on "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" and other news programs.

I guess the person who will send these emails has to make sure that they are not a Christian. Actually I heard that someone has to check in to the website everyday. When they do not check in, it will send the emails. What happens if that person screws-up or dies?

It would be interesting to see if your email address is in the list, meaning that someone thinks that you will be left behind!!

What do you all think of this?

2008 Primaries

These elections are important. We should be paying attention to the primaries. Here is a good site that follows the primaries by state: http://politics.nytimes.com/election-guide/2008/primaries/republicanprimaries/index.html

What about the Primary Process?
I understand why there is only a few states at at time in the primaries. It helps the candidates focus on a few states instead of all of them at once. One problem I have is that some primaries and caucuses have 1 state, while some, like super Tuesday, have several states. Why not spread out the states better. The other problem is by the time they get to Virginia (my state) the decision is already made. Some states do not get to make the decision. Many candidates drop out early on so we do not even get to vote for them.

Alexa & I made 100 miles

My dog, Alexa, and I have been walking and running since she was very little. On Feb. 20th of this year I found a runlog at http://runlog.media.mit.edu/. I started recording my miles. Yesterday we hit the 100 mile mark - Yeah!!.

It has been great for me to have a dog to keep me running. Also this runlog has been great to record my miles. I can even compete against other runners. I am 17th place on distance and 32nd place on session average. I do not care about session average; Alexa and I do the best we can. She usually gets more miles because I let her run free at times and there are usually bunnies or squirrels around somewhere.

If you are a runner, try out runlog. Runlog uses a new login called openid. It has been talked about in a lot of blogs but I do not see many places using it yet. I believe it is going to get more popular so check it out at http://openid.net/.

I have not been able to write since the Buckeyes lost again to Florida. It gets hard when it happens 2 times in one year. Someone said that the Buckeyes are having a bad year. I would have to disagree with that. Making it to 2 championship games is not a bad year; Florida is just not allowing them to finish it. I just have one thing to say. Michigan who?? Florida is our new rivalry!!

Anyway with Easter tomorrow, I need to change my thoughts.

Go Buckeyes Tonight

I think it is amazing that the same teams that played in the NCAA Football Championship are now playing in NCAA Basketball Championship - namely Florida and Ohio State. How often has that happened?

Florida has the experience, and they looked pretty good on Saturday; however, Ohio State will seek revenge for the football team!! Florida looked pretty cockey on Saturday, which I really do not like. The buckeyes looked like good guys, but that is probably because I am an avid buckeye fan!!

Before the football game, I talked a lot about the buckeyes. I will not do that this time. We will just see what happens tonight starting at 9:00 PM.
